what is two sides of the same coin?
wo Sides of The Same Coin is a story about, well, coins! They live on an island named Feivcent (FEE-VA-SENT). The island was once dominated by cats, and coins were not sentient like they are now. During the time of the cats dominance, a cat named Pepper created a crystal that gave life: life to the coins. At first, the coins were civil with the cats, and were allowed to make their own society seperate from the cats. However, the coins, led by Resilence, became greedy, and took over more and more land. A great war began between the cats and the coins, which the coins won. The creator of the crystal, Pepper, was never seen after the war ended and was presumed dead. The coins took over the island, sorting themselves into three kingdoms, Colosomonie, Starbarken, and Lightimore. Resilience became the first king of Colosomonie, and since his disappearance, his bloodline has ruled Colosomonie ever since. The curent King, King Cadet, is the great-great-great grandson of Resilience.

So now, their mission is to find the crystal and find out what's going on with the ancient, magical crystal.
WHO ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS?

TROUT (he/him, pansexual)
Trout comes from the seaside town Golden Shores, southwest of the capital city of Renimora. He is a "traveling musician" so he says... but really, he just stays in Golden Shores, performing on the docks for fisherman. He is quiet and always has his head in the clouds. When he isn't playing the guitar on the docks, he's at the library. He is very interested in history, especially when it comes to the war between cats and coins. Maybe that's why his highness chose him for the task- he is known for getting things done, after all.

SHIMMER (They/She, Abrosexual)
Growing up in a research center near the Ruined City of Travlador, a once glorious city that was destroyed by the coins when they took over the island, all Shimmer has known is studying cat culture and cat kind. They are fun loving and mischievous, always running amuck through the ruins of Travlador, fascinated by the things that lay beneath the rubble. She has always wanted more in life, but their parents always told them that they'd be allowed to leave when they were old enough. So when they received a message from the King to report to the capital immediately, they sprung at the opportunity.

REECE (She/He, Aromantic)
The oldest of the coins sent on the mission, Reece has a no bs attitude. He is serious and quiet, prefering to keep on with the mission then getting to know the other two. He comes from the quiet villiage of Anrioam, a village not known for much. Reece has made it her mission to make Anrioam a well known, and even respected, village.
